(tr)uSDX First Time QRP POTA US-2173 5 Watt Only

QRP, which means using 5 watts or less, is a lot of fun. Just the thoughts that you can establish contacts (QSO) with people from all over the country with the output power of around 5-10 Christmas light bulbs that are currently blinking on my tree in my living room is just amazing!

I got the opportunity to take my new (tr)uSDX HF radio out to F.D.R. State Park, US-2173, and test it out yesterday.

My new little 5 watt HF radio did not dissappoint.

I used my Xtenna EFHW to operate on 20m.

I had perfect weather and the bands were excellent for carrying my signal all the way out west as well as up to Canada!
